It was standing room only for the 2011 NPC Excalibur this past weekend!  In the biggest end-of-the-year event ever, loads of Southern California muscle came out of the woodwork to hit the stage in Culver City one last time for the year!

With National qualification on the line for all athletes, 317 competitors in all, the talent was deep and the classes numbered in the 20′s and 30′s in many weight or height categories.  and MAN Sports was in tha house of course!  Sampling, teaching, and updating fans and customers on what’s new in the kingdom of MAN, including the powerful new Game Day formula, a new push into the 2012 season, and the excitement of several new products on the horizon, it was a busy evening at the MAN Sports booth!

Our own TEAM MAN Sports sponsored athlete, IFBB Pro, Meriza Deguzman-Ciccone, strutted her sexy-stuff on stage this weekend, and showed the world of Pro Figure what 4’11″ of intensity looks like. Meriza presented herself in fit, lean, tight form – all 97.2lbs of her sculpted, crafted physique. She has been training and competing for the past 4 years at the international level, as an IFBB Professional, representing the USA. During her career thus far, she’s had the opportunity to grace the coveted Ms. Olympia stage twice, and has stood with the best in the game…she continues to craft her physique, show by show, refining and evolving as an elite level physique competitor; her goal, to create the most inspiring, most balanced and beautifully feminine physique she can…At MAN Sports, we’re proud of our resident pro! And she’s well on her way to achieving her goal! Go get ‘em, Meriza!

MAN Sports athletes and top NPC athletes, Pete Ciccone and Khay Rosemond, along with MAN Sports own Meriza Deguzman, were in attendance, working the MAN Sports booth – as always, one of the busiest displays at the show – sampling GAME DAY, Scorch, Body Octane, Figure Fuel and displaying the new REVEAL the STEEL stack! Show specials were available on all products, and as always, free autographs, free samples, and catalogs with training programs and more!

The 2011 NPC/IFBB Border States! Meriza’s been working her butt off, and with less than 6 full days to go til she graces the Pro Figure stage again, we wish her continued luck and support! She’s in her best shape yet – weighing in at a compact, tight and tiny 98lbs. Her target is around 97lbs, fit and lean…she’s right on schedule and feeling good! Keep on going, Meriza!

It was as expected, another mid-summer scorcher for the Western Region NPC and Lindsay Productions!

Over 200 competitors, many attempting to qualify for the NPC USA’s next week, others warming up for the biggest amateur event of the year, still others testing their mettle onstage at the summer’s biggest regional event – the NPC Los Angeles Championships has become a cornerstone event for the NPC contest calendar – and always brings out the best in the sport – and of course, MAN Sports was there!
